Hey!
I thought you might be interested in a competition running over at CityGuide. We are trying to find America’s Hottest Bartender and have scoured the US to find 10 finalists in 10 cities. Now its up to users to vote and decide on which bartender is the hottest. Here is a link to the hottest men and women in Miami:

http://cg.channel.aol.com/hottest-bartenders?ncid=AOLACG00050000000010

We have profiles (with pictures!) of all of the finalists. Perhaps Miami will have the hottest bartender! Feel free to link to this feature. Let me know if you have any questions

Take care,
Mike

Hi,

We just launched the website, http://www.stopcooking.com, which allows Miami residents to order food online for delivery or pick up.

Currently, consumers can order food online from Wing Zone, Natural Chicken Grill, Akashi, Fox’s, Chef Tian, Power Pizza, Blu Pizzeria, Mojito Grill, and Two Chefs in the South Miami/University of Miami area.

In South Beach, residents can order online from Bambinas Pizza, Pita Loca, Pita Pit, El Rancho Grande, Poz Cafe, Taste Bakery & Cafe, Blimpie, Master’s Italian Restaurant, Hakan Turkish Grill, Sopranos Pizza, and more.

We are continously adding new restaurants!

We were wondering if you can help us get the word out about our website. We think your readers would really enjoy the site and benefit from the ease and accuracy of online ordering.

Also, Stopcooking.com is featuring exclusive discounts, promotions, and loyalty rewards from local restaurants.

Best regards,

Subject: iPod Tour of Miami Beach

Hi-

I thought you might be interested in this new, sexy iPod tour of Miami Beach which just launched. It is a 1 hour, 1 mile audio tour which takes listeners to some of Miami’s most memorable hotspots, including:

- Mansion Nightclub
- The Versace Mansion
- World Erotic Sex Museum
- The Carlyle (where Don Johnson was introduced to the world in the very first episode of Miami Vice)

It can be found on http://www.AudisseyGuides.com or through iTunes.

If you would like pictures or audio samples let me know!

Thanks!

If, like me, you live in a South Beach condo where board members think they were appointed by God, check this out…

I’ve decided to use the Internet to bring a little democracy to condo living. Condopinion.com is an unmoderated discussion board where owners and renters alike can discuss what’s wrong–and right–with their buildings. Hopefully when board members see critiques aired in public they’ll decide it’s time to take action–or at least offer an explanation–for the sake of their own property values.

I just went live with the site this week, and so far it’s a ghost town with really nice landscaping. Given Miami’s condo culture, I think it’s the kind of thing that will catch on quickly once people hear about it. No place like the blogosphere to find people with opinions, right??

Recently launched website, http://www.travelsintaste.com, provides a wealth of information about fine dining destinations. You’ll find South Beach listings under fine dining, noteworthy dining, dynamic lunch, and power breakfast. There are also great interviews, biographies and recipes contributed by famous chefs like Pietro Rota of La Marea, as well as others.

It would be great if you would take a look at the site. I think your readers would like it. Please email me if you have any questions or would like to talk about exchanging links.

Me and my husband recently ate dinner at a place called ISHQ, an Indian restaurant in the South Beach/Art Deco area of Miami. I was curious if you were interested in putting up a 500-word review about our experience, all the food and drinks we tried, the staff, the atmosphere, and everything that makes or breaks a restaurant. I hope to hear back from you!

Hey South Beach,

great blog,

Over the next month or two we are going to launch Beach Town Journal – it’s a social business network dedicated to enabling entrepreneurs in beach towns communicate, trade ideas, trade stuff – from surf shops to surf shops, hotels to hotels, lodging, retail, restaurants etc. It’s a format that worked well for ski towns.

We won’t be doing any kind of press campaign for about 2 weeks, but wanted to get to know the good bloggers and give them the heads up.

You are invited to use the site now (think of it like Myspace/Facebook/Linkedin, but specifically for your business). You can create links back to your store, your blog, list all your store info, shots of your stuff, specials, or you are even welcome to write stories or blogs that will appear instantly on the front screen. If you have business advice for the new owner, ideas, or want to bounce something off people that have walked the same road in a different community, this will be the place. Tell your friends if you want, or not, family, other owners, how to use it is really up to you.

The official release will be going out to all US coastal chambers, VBs, newspapers, sites and other media soon enough, but this is a better way to start.
